Yeah - there's actually loads of stuff you can do. I would say the range of things you can do covers a good 70% of use cases for apps - maybe more. Most apps these days do not need to be native apps at all as their functional is fairly basic, I really don't know why people don't just create PWAs - the tech has been a around for a couple of years now and is now quite mature. I guess the main stumbling block is the slow/reluctant uptake by Apple - no doubt trying to safeguard their precious AppStore revenue model, which PWAs bypass entirely.
