How to Design a Weaving Loom Using 3D CAD Software
In the world of textile creation, a weaving loom is an essential tool that transforms threads into beautifully structured fabrics. Designing a weaving loom requires careful planning to ensure stability, proper thread alignment, and ease of use, especially when balancing traditional craftsmanship with modern fabrication methods. With SelfCAD, a user-friendly 3D design software, designers can digitally create and refine a customized loom by accurately shaping the frame, spacing the heddles, and adjusting dimensions to suit different weaving projects. By combining creativity with technical precision, this design process demonstrates how 3D modeling can modernize traditional tools while maintaining their functional purpose
