My name is Julia Shvatskaya, and I’m a senior full-stack engineer and product builder passionate about creating scalable systems that solve real human problems.
I’m also the founder of Kids-Flashcards.com — a multilingual educational platform used by parents, teachers, and speech therapists worldwide to help children learn their first words through printable flashcards.
When I saw the DEV Cloud Run Challenge, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to share my work in a way that combines:

How I Built It
This project was created as a fast, modern developer portfolio — but also as a hands-on learning experience with the Google Cloud ecosystem.
Tech Stack
- Frontend: React + responsive UI
- Deployment: Google Cloud Run
- Workflow: Deployed directly from Google AI Studio
Development Process
My goal was simple:
Build something clean, professional, and real — something I could confidently share with the DEV community.
I focused on:
- Strong typography and modern layout
- Clear presentation of my technical expertise
- Real project impact instead of just buzzwords
- A design that feels like a product, not a template
Google AI Tools I Used
Google AI Studio helped me accelerate the entire process:
- Generate layout and structure ideas
- Improve the wording of project descriptions
- Iterate quickly on design decisions
- Deploy directly into Cloud Run with minimal setup
It felt like going from concept → live app in one smooth workflow.
What I'm Most Proud Of
What makes me most excited about this project is how quickly it became real and shareable.

Lessons Learned
This challenge taught me a lot about shipping faster with modern cloud tools:

No server management — just build and deploy.

It helped me turn ideas into working output in hours instead of days.
