Cool Tech I found in CES 2023

CES is the world’s biggest technology show, with new innovations and gadgets being unveiled every year. This year was no exception, as there were many fascinating technologies showcased at CES 2023. From colour-changing cars to AI-powered robots, the show had something for everyone. In this article, I will be discussing some of the top technologies that I found interesting at CES 2023.

1. TCL RayNeo X2 AR Glasses
Now, these TCL RayNeo glasses have the ability to do live translate or add subtitles to the conversations you have, it is not yet aimed at the consumer market but at developers.

It has a built-in camera to record and shoot images and videos. The AR Glasses are far from becoming a commercial product, but we can easily see the rapid advancements in AR tech that would support an era where everyone wears one of such glasses.

2. OVR Wearable Scent Technology
Now with the uprise of the Metaverse, you sure would be interested if I said that you can smell the stuff you see virtually. That's right, OVR technologies have created a wearable device called ION.

Which connects wirelessly to your devices via BlueTooth and can generate 1000+ aromas.

3. BMW I Vision Dee
I cannot write an article on CES '23 leaving out BMW's I Vision Dee (Digital Emotional Experience) which is an electric sedan which is coated with new E-ink technology that can change up to 32 colours divided into 240 parts.

BMW has not just worked on the exterior but also the inside where they housed a full-width AR heads-up display in the windshield. BMW has stated that it's not going to be building this Car entirely but says it may add some parts of the car to production in the upcoming years.

4. HYPERVSN 3D holographic display
HYPERVSN is a bunch of connected software and hardware that displays 3D graphics without the requirement of any wearable equipment.

Basically, a big display that can show you, 3D models. It has applications in the education, retail and digital arts sectors.

5. Sony Star Sphere
Star Sphere is a project by Sony to bring everyone closer to space by offering Space Photography as a Service, that's right! with the help of Sony's nanosatellites which houses a high definition camera.

Users will be able to capture Earth's beauty with free control over the composition and camera settings. Sony is planning to not release the service until late 2023 or so.
