Creating Your NFTs on KALP Studio
- Once you have subscribed to the NFT Creator plan, navigate to the NFT Portfolio section at the left sidebar.
- If no NFTs are created on the dashboard, a message will appear saying, No NFT yet!
- Click the + Create NFT button to create a new NFT.
You will be redirected to the Create NFT dashboard to create a new NFT.
Each section in the Create NFT section has the following purpose.
- Upload Media: Upload the main media file for your NFT. You can upload video, audio, Images, Animations, Documents, and 3D files. (Supported formats include JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, DOCX, PDF, MP4, WEBM, MP3, WAV, OGG, and GLB, with a maximum file size of 100 MB)
- Name Your Creation: Enter a unique name for your NFT (Validations are shown next to the text box)
- Catalog Selection: You can select an existing catalogue you already created OR create a new one. If you’re creating a new catalogue, click on the Create New Catalog button (covered in later sections of the tutorial)
- Description: Describe your NFT to inform the audience about your creation in detail. This helps potential viewers understand the background or value of your NFT.
- Asset Properties (optional): Add any additional properties you think will be needed to describe your NFT. Under ‘Asset Properties’, you can add custom details in the Key-Value pair like: Type: NFT Color: Red Genre: Classical music
Before creating the NFT, it is important to create a new catalogue, which can be achieved by following the following steps.
- Upload Catalog picture: Upload a cover image for your new Catalog. (Supported formats for thumbnails are JPG, PNG, GIF and WEBP, with a max size of 5 MB)
- Name your Catalog: Give a name to your new Catalog.
- Description: Briefly describe your Catalog's purpose or theme.
- Click on the Create Catalog button at last to create. A confirmation message will appear indicating successful catalogue creation.
Now that we have created a catalogue, it’s time to create a new NFT.
Once you’ve completed all the required NFT details, click the Create button.
- A confirmation popup will appear, stating: "The platform requires to mint the asset and metadata on Blockchain now to create your NFT. Please approve this transaction to continue."
- Click Confirm to proceed. This initiates the blockchain transaction for minting the NFT.
- Wait for a few seconds, and you can see that your NFT has been created successfully.
After you have successfully created your NFT on the Ethereum blockchain, head on the NFT Creator dashboard again, and you can see your NFT on the dashboard, with the Catalog ID which you can copy for future uses.
To check the details further, click on the NFT card to see details like Created by, etc.
Since this NFT is uploaded on the Ethereum blockchain, you can also see the details of the Method, Market Cap, Age of the NFT, Transaction Hash etc, by clicking the View on Blockchain button, to manage your NFT.
