Just 2 days ago, 4o image generation came out, and people are already getting tired of it—mainly because the styles are too similar, and everything ends up looking kind of the same.
But what came to my mind is that, in any field, AI is really just taking over the more basic tasks. Since I can’t draw, being able to generate images this quickly is already good enough for me. And now that text generation is also possible (English works relatively well in current tests; Japanese only works for short texts), there's barely any need for post-editing. It’s basically a low-cost, practical tool. It’s the same feeling as wanting to build an app even if you don’t know how to code.
What we should be thinking about is how to create innovations that weren’t possible before, and how to refine the details to deliver value that even AI can’t replicate.
