The best approach is the one that works for you.
Over the past year, a lot has happened in my life, significantly affecting my emotions. I’ve struggled to focus on work and learning, and even the stability of my job seems to have been forced to change.
But when I think about it, the worst-case scenario is simply leaving Japan and starting over again, and that thought has actually helped me feel more at ease.
Lately, I’ve been prioritizing good sleep and a healthy diet. When I have the energy, I go for a jog. It’s not the kind of disciplined routine most people imagine—in fact, it’s quite the opposite. For example, if I feel like sleeping after dinner, I don’t hesitate to go to bed. I might wake up in the middle of the night to study or prepare for work the next day.
A regular routine is something I’ve always wanted, but it’s not easy to achieve given my circumstances. So I’ve found a way that works for me instead. Moving forward, I believe this will help me speed up progress toward my goals.
