Extreme Temperature Swing: From 31°C Heat to Freezing Conditions
On October 18, 2026, Jiading experienced a sharp heat spike as temperatures soared to 31°C, marking a recent peak. However, this warmth is short-lived. Due to the convergence of cold and warm air masses, the weather shifted this afternoon to overcast skies with intermittent showers and thunderstorms. If you are heading out tonight, ensure you have an umbrella. Looking ahead, the situation turns drastic: early next week will bring cloudy conditions and frequent rain, which will likely disrupt commuting and traffic. Most importantly, a cold front is arriving, sending minimum temperatures plummeting back into the single digits. Prepare your wardrobe accordingly.
