As someone who does small projects for other people, I realized that figuring out how much to charge for different types of work can be surprisingly difficult.
Whether it's making a presentation, building a small website, fixing something, designing something, or helping with a technical task, pricing small jobs isn't always straightforward.
So I decided to build Pricely, a web application designed to help people quickly estimate and organize fair prices for small jobs and services.
What is Pricely?
Pricely is intended for small businesses, freelancers, students, developers, designers, and anyone doing small jobs or side projects who needs a simple way to work out pricing.
Instead of trying to remember how much you charged last time or calculating everything manually, Pricely provides a structured way to estimate the value of a job.
Features
Current/planned features include:
Job and service pricing
Custom pricing categories
Price estimation
Different pricing factors
Service-based pricing
Quick price calculations
Pricing history
Simple and easy-to-use interface
Responsive design for desktop and mobile devices
And more
Tech Stack
The project is being developed using modern web technologies, including:
React
TypeScript / JavaScript
Vite
HTML5
CSS3
Supabase
Vercel
Figma
Who is it for?
Pricely is mainly aimed at people who aren't necessarily running a large company.
For example:
Students doing small jobs
Freelance developers
Designers
Small businesses
People doing pocket jobs
People providing technical services
People taking commissions
Anyone who needs to decide what to charge for a small project
The goal is to make pricing simple, consistent, and easier to understand, rather than turning it into complicated accounting software.
Why I Built It
When you're doing smaller jobs, pricing can sometimes be awkward.
You don't necessarily need a full business management platform just to figure out what a presentation, website, design, or small technical task should cost.
I wanted to create something focused specifically on that problem.
The project is still being developed, so I'm looking for real-world feedback, suggestions, and ideas about what would actually make something like this useful.

Feedback
I'd especially like to hear from:
Developers
Designers
Freelancers
Small business owners
Students doing paid projects
Anyone who regularly does small jobs
If you have suggestions for pricing factors, features, or improvements, I'd love to hear them.
Thanks for checking it out!
With Regards,
