Intro

I've been contributing to Hacktoberfest since 2022, and it's been an amazing experience each year. I've enjoyed contributing to various repositories with some amazing projects and amazing components built on various stacks. I'm already looking forward to next year's Hacktoberfest and all the exciting, adventurous, and unique projects I'll be able to contribute to.

Highs and Lows

  • It's a great way to learn new things. When I contribute to Hacktoberfest projects, I often have to learn new technologies and programming languages. This helps me stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in the software development industry.
  • It's a great way to give back to the open source community. Open source software is essential to the way we build and use the internet today. By contributing to Hacktoberfest projects, I'm able to help make open source software even better.
  • It's a great way to meet new people and make friends. Hacktoberfest is a global event, and I've had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with people from all over the world. It's been a great way to expand my network and make new friends who share my passion for open source software.
  • One of the biggest task was to create a dark mode website that was under multiple pages.
  • It was a really unique project I have built this month with some amazing new features into it.

Growth

  • Previously i only contributed to the django technology as a stack. but this year i have got my hands dirty on the MERN Stack and learn so much into the deep components of it
  • Definitely this month turned to be a great and a very essential learning for me.
