Hi I am the last Touch Bar fanatic on the Earth. Even that why I directly buy a Macbook Pro M1 model with touch bar.
Why?
Touch Bar is fare more versatile compared to a physical functions keys. Even can be customize.
I am hungarian so I using two keyboard languages: english, hungarian. I have problem on every other keybpard: I don't have visual feedback the current language. I can put that button on Tuch Bar and that button told me the current language and just push to switch.
Also perfect for video playing, when I scroll forward or backward the video.
Surprising different screenshot can be used this way compared my company mac which don't have touch bar. With this screenshoot rectangle I can manipulate by the corner, but this function don't tie direct to touch bar functionality.
Emoji selection is much nicer 🦤.

imho I don't use Functions keys ever even on keybards which have functions keys.

Third one don't need to be touch the screen to use a slider: keep screen clean compared to a iPad, or a touch screen capable laptop.

Fourth: I use a clock on touchbar, which I see constantly. In my workflow I just using a full screen windows, so don't see the desktop header line.
