ZipMania is a free, open-source archive manager for Windows 10 and 11. It brings archive browsing, file previews, and Windows Explorer integration together in one desktop app.
Browse before extracting
ZipMania can preview images and text files inside supported archives, so you can check contents without first unpacking everything. It supports common formats including ZIP, 7Z, RAR, EGG, ALZ, and ISO.
A ZIP engine designed for parallel processing
When creating ZIP archives, ZipMania can process multiple files in parallel. For large files, it can also divide the data into chunks for parallel deflate. This gives users another way to make use of available CPU resources during compression. Actual results depend on the files, hardware, and settings.
More archive tools
ZipMania also includes encrypted archives, filename encryption, split archives, and Explorer context-menu integration. It is free for personal and commercial use, and its source code is available under the Apache-2.0 license.
