Most LinkedIn posts are forgettable. Here's what works. People post expecting engagement. They get none. The problem isn't your ideas. It's how you're presenting them.
What makes a post shareable: Specific over generic. 'Some meetings are a waste of time' = forgettable. 'Yesterday's 2-hour standup could have been a 5-minute Slack message' = relatable. Controversial enough to comment on. Not attacking anyone. Just a take some agree with and others don't. That's where comments come from.
The format that works: Hook line first. First line needs to stop the scroll. Body 3-5 sentences. Call to action end with a question or drop your thoughts below.
Don't bury the lead: Your first line is everything. If it doesn't make someone stop scrolling, they won't read the rest. Write the first line last.
I put together a LinkedIn post structure template with hooks that work, body formulas, and CTA examples. Build posts in 15 minutes instead of 2 hours.
