The Email Template That Gets Responses

Most cold emails get deleted. Not because the offer is bad. Because the email is forgettable. The difference between an email that gets deleted and one that gets a response comes down to one thing: whether it feels like it was written for them.

The structure that works: Subject line specific not clever. 'Question about your LinkedIn strategy' beats 'Quick question.' Opening line don't start with 'I hope this finds you well.' Start with something specific about them. The ask be specific about what you want. Not 'would love to connect.' 'Can we do a 15-minute call next week?' Body 3-4 sentences. That's it.

Why most emails fail: People write emails that are about themselves. 'I do X, I want to help with Y.' The recipient doesn't care about you. They care about themselves. Your email needs to be about them.

The quick test: Read your email and ask 'Why should I care?' If you can't answer that question in 3 seconds, the email won't get a response.

I put together 50 cold email templates for different situations: sales outreach, job searching, partnership requests, networking. Each one built around the same principle: specific, short, focused on them.
