At Knitli, we believe humans and AI both should focus on what each does best. We build the tools to make that happen. Our goal: build the 'context layer SDK' -- an open source-first platform for delivering exact and targeted context to agents while giving agents the tools to do what they do best.
Our stack
We have an open core model, led by:
- CodeWeaver - a next-gen MCP server written in Python and built on top of FastMCP, PydanticAI, and ast-grep-py.
- Thread - a very fast codebase intelligence tool for supplying targeted agent context. Written in Rust on top of Ast-Grep and Tree-Sitter, using graphs to model codebases.
- Our Cloud is built on edge-only, zero-trust architecture with Cloudflare.
