I am interested in playing with ClojureScript for a personal project. And server-side or desktop Clojure in the future. Only problem is that I feel a bit overwhelmed when approaching the platform. I see a lot of tools mentioned. And their names usually provide little clue as to what they are supposed to do. Then I have no idea if what I'm reading is still current or if another tool for that job has since become dominant.
By the same token, I can totally understand why .NET platform is hard for people to get into. It has similar discoverability issues. But ultimately some of the decisions are simpler -- e.g. for a web server, just use Kestrel.
So if anyone is in the know about the current state of affairs on the platform, I would appreciate an overview.
