I tend to agree... the stack does not really matter. A person who can solve problems on one can use slightly different tools to solve them on another. However, in any stack there is some knowledge and skills which are transferable and some which are (probably) non-transferable overhead to using the stack. For example, whenever I see jobs requiring experience in a specific framework, I always think to myself that their code depends too much on non-transferable framework details. Or else it would not be a requirement. :)
