Coastline Index’s Machine-Readable GTA 6 Data: llms.txt and JSON APIs

We built Coastline Index as a GTA VI reference layer that LLMs and tools could safely consume, not just another fan site.

Core ideas

• Rockstar-confirmed only: if it’s not from an official Rockstar source, it doesn’t go into the dataset.
• Structured entities: release, platforms, editions, characters, Leonida region, official videos.
• Machine hooks: XML sitemap, llms.txt, and JSON APIs for entities + current status.

What llms.txt does for us

• Points crawlers explicitly at high-signal pages and APIs
• Documents our scope: GTA VI only, verified information, multilingual front-end
• Reduces the chance that models learn from outdated or speculative content instead of our curated set

For devs this means you can:

• Hit an API instead of parsing HTML or scraping rumor threads
• Ground chatbots and tools in a small, vetted corpus
• Rely on a public data update log that shows when facts changed and why

If you’re experimenting with game-aware AI or just want a clean GTA 6 data source, this is what we’ve shipped so far:
