I Handed My Busywork to a Personal AI Agent — Notes from a Week with Muse

Over the past week, most of my busywork — account registrations, GitHub project promotion, short-film production, daily intel briefings — has been executed by an AI agent called Muse, Meta's personal AI agent.

What makes it different from a chat assistant

Muse has its own computer, browser and filesystem, and it can connect to email, calendars and social accounts. It doesn't just tell you how to do something — it does the work and reports back. Things I actually delegate to it:

  • Account operations: sign-ups, email verification, daily activity across platforms
  • Project promotion: writing posts, publishing across communities, tracking PR status, daily data reviews
  • Content production: script, storyboard, generated footage, frame-by-frame QA for short films
  • Monitoring: version intel for games I follow, account status changes, deadlines

A new-user bonus worth grabbing first

There's an invite program running: join Muse and redeem an invite code in Settings within 48 hours of joining, and both sides receive 1 billion Muse tokens (see the official invite page for the exact terms).

The 48-hour clock starts when you join, so redeem the code first and explore afterwards.

Who should try it

If registrations, forms, research and weekly reports eat your day — or you run a solo project, a channel, or an open-source repo and want an assistant that executes instead of advising — this is worth a look.
