Before you stack more AI tools, run a one-week payment test: one offer, one channel, one proof. Drop projects that cannot name a payer.

Most AI side-project advice starts with tools. That is backwards. Tools are cheap. A named payer is not.
Run a seven-day test with three constraints only:
- One offer sentence a stranger can understand in ten seconds.
- One channel you already can reach without buying ads.
- One proof you can show without a landing-page redesign.
On day one, write the offer. On day two, put it in front of five real people. On day three to five, count replies that ask about price, timing, or next step — not compliments. On day six, decide keep or kill. On day seven, either send an invoice-style ask or archive the idea.
Vanity signals to ignore: likes, saves, “interesting”, and tool screenshots. Keep signals only if someone names a budget, a deadline, or a concrete deliverable.
If you cannot finish this loop in a week, the project is not small enough. Shrink the offer until the loop fits.

Expanded checklist
Write the offer as a sentence a stranger can reject. If they cannot reject it, it is not an offer yet.
Track only three numbers for seven days: conversations started, price questions asked, and committed next steps. Ignore follower count.
When someone says “interesting,” reply with one clarifying question about their current process and cost of delay. Compliments are not pipeline.
If day three has zero price questions, change the channel before you change the product. Most early failures are distribution, not model quality.
Keep a kill list: ideas you archived and why. Reviewing the kill list prevents restarting the same vanity project under a new tool name.
Soft pointer only: the longer Chinese case notes and field checklists stay on Idea2Wealth at https://aifafa.com.cn — use them to compare fields, not to copy endings.
