A quick tip: Compress multiple folders into individual zip files - macOS

  1. Open Archive Utility.app with Spotlight or Alfred (⌘ + spacebar)
  2. Go to File > Preferences or press ⌘ + ,
  3. Change the Use archive format preference to Zip archive
  4. Optionally you can move to trash or delete folders with After archiving settings
  5. Drag and drop the folders into the Archive Utility icon in the dock.
