- Address problematic behavior swiftly, politely, and publicly, to send a signal to potential contributors that such behavior isn’t typical or tolerated.
- Negative experiences have real consequences for project health.
- Give people tools to protect themselves.
This survey was initiated by Github in 2017, but many issues are still relevant in 2022.
