Announcing Karagöz Sandbox

As a web developer, I’m passionate about—no surprises here—web development.

I also love sharing knowledge, but let’s be real—I don’t have the YouTube personality (or the patience to edit videos for hours).

Then I discovered the WebContainer API by StackBlitz, and it felt like the perfect foundation for a side project in that direction. So I set out to build one.

It took a while—between a full-time job and trying not to spend 80% of my time staring at a laptop in my 4th decade—but today, I’m excited to announce the launch of Karagöz Sandbox 🎉

(You can learn more about the name in the docs ^^)

Karagöz Sandbox is a collection of Vue.js components and utilities designed for interactive code demonstrations. It provides a simple, intuitive, and clean UI for your WebContainers, giving you something like this:

Karagöz Sandbox

(That’s just a screenshot, not a live demo—crossOriginIsolated isn’t enabled here. But don’t worry, you can check out working demos below!)

💡 Try Karagöz Sandbox:

Right now, it’s built for Vue.js, but there are plans to port it to Web Components, making it framework-agnostic.

Give it a try! I’d love to hear your feedback—what works, what doesn’t, and what could be even better. 🚀
