IBM 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 delivered a 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩 to:
(1) demonstrate the portability of the 𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 between:
- an on-premises Red Hat 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙛𝙩 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 and
- the Red Hat 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙛𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 on Amazon Web Services (AWS) (𝙍𝙊𝙎𝘼). (2) prove that such a solution:
- was 𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚
- would 𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 required to deliver the solution.
Microservices running on the Red Hat 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙛𝙩 environment can be 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙨 normally associated with DR activities:
(1) 𝙋𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 in DR timescales
(2) Facilitate 𝙢𝙖𝙟𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘿𝙍
(3) Ensure 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨
(4) Enable 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙙 𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜
(5) Open public cloud 𝙗𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙡𝙤𝙖𝙙𝙨
