On this sacred occasion of Mahashivratri, I was thinking…
As developers, we write code.
But sometimes, we also need to destroy code.
And that reminds me of Lord Shiva — the destroyer in the Trinity.
Destruction is not always negative.
Sometimes, it means:
Destroying bad habits
Destroying messy code
Destroying self-doubt
Destroying fear of failure
In development, refactoring is our “Tandava” —
We remove what’s unnecessary and create something cleaner, stronger, better.
Mahadev teaches us:
🧘 Focus like meditation
🔥 Energy like Tandava
🌊 Calmness like the Ganga
💡 Wisdom like the third eye
This Mahashivratri,
I promise to:
Write cleaner code
Learn consistently
Stay calm under pressure
Keep improving 1% daily
Har Har Mahadev 🔱
