I faced a bug earlier in the week...made my nose all stuffy and gave me a fever. Ooooo right, not that kinda bug...
Well, another bug that got me was the same one that got you... those pesky cover images never want to fall into place as they should. If you take a look at my Music Monday series, you'll see that I often use GIFs for cover images... it's tough to find GIFs that fit our aspect ratio of 1000:420. I always try to grab one that I think is going to be cropped nicely, but it doesn't always work out as expected and you can't trust what you see in the preview, you need to save (cross your fingers) and view the draft page to get an idea of what it'll look like.
Anyway, let me bring this one up with the team. You're not the first to point out that cropping cover images is occasionally inconsistent and weird!
