Hi everyone, I am Mandeep from New Delhi, India. I got to know about this community via Real Talk Javascript podcast. I am sure I might have landed on this platform in the past via Google search but never really explored beyond the tutorial articles I found. Now that I am browsing through, it feels like an amazing place to learn and share stuff.
About myself, this June 21st I will be completing 9 years as a software engineer. I started my career as an SQL programmer, writing PL/SQL stored procedures of varying degree of complexity. Then gradually I started working on developing backend APIs using Node.js and using NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Aerospike, Elasticsearch, Redis, DynamoDB. Over the years, I have gathered a good amount of understanding of various AWS services and devops technologies like Docker. During most of my career, front end development has been my weakest point and that's what I have been strenghening over the last year. I am comfortable to say that I have made some good progress in that area with VueJS over the last few months. CSS is still something I struggle with and most of the time I rely on frameworks like Bootstrap.
I really enjoy learning new technologies and languages by building new stuff. Through this community, I hope to learn a lot of new stuff, get to know lots of new cool people of this community and share my learnings with you all.
