The Most Influential Individual on the Planet

You are the greatest poem ever written. You are the greatest song ever sung. You are the greatest portrait ever painted. You are the greatest symphony ever composed. You are the greatest act ever performed. You are the greatest masterpiece ever created.” - Matshona Dhliwayo_

It's easy to get lost in the lives of famous people and forget that our significance is not determined by our fame. In a world where only a select few will be remembered, it's important to remember that greatness is not about being known. Many of the extraordinary individuals who have changed the world will never be known to us. But we all have the power to make a difference, even on a small scale. It's up to us to embrace our power, to make the most of every opportunity that comes our way, and to impact the world around us in a meaningful way.

While I enjoy reading about famous figures like Bill Gates and Nelson Mandela, I am reminded that their success isn't attainable for most of us. However, I find more value in books like Think and Grow Rich and The Game of Life and How to Play It, which focus on personal growth and achievement.

It's amazing to me that many successful people started with little and built their own wealth. I have a deep respect for those who have inspired me, including parents, inventors, teachers, doctors, and artists. It's tough to start with very little, but the determined thrive.

Attaining significance need not be daunting. Occasionally, performing an act of kindness for another or selecting a healthier lifestyle can suffice. Life is a canvas, and we're its creators. Our daily conduct, every spoken word, and every move depict our existence.

We can choose to create something beautiful, something meaningful. We can choose to reach for the stars, but also to be patient and take it one step at a time. We can use our power to inspire others, to make a positive impact on the world, and to leave our mark on history in our own unique way.

We each possess a sense of purpose, capable of leaving a lasting impact and enhancing our environment before we depart. Despite not achieving fame or notoriety, leading contented and healthy lives can also bring about great significance. So why do many of us settle for mundane existences?

I strongly believe that our expectations play a crucial role in shaping our lives. By having positive expectations, we can direct our thoughts and energy towards achieving our goals and realizing our aspirations.

While setting high goals is crucial, it's equally important not to get consumed or confused by our own aspirations. We must remember that even the most significant dreams require patience and perseverance, just like how Rome wasn't built in a day.

Donald Trump meticulously builds his luxurious skyscrapers bolt by bolt. Oprah Winfrey, on the other hand, creates her empire through one gathering, one decision at a time. Remember, "A journey of 1,000 miles begins with a single step."

So why settle for a life that is less than remarkable? We are all capable of achieving greatness, in our own way. It's up to us to seize every opportunity that comes our way, to make the most of every moment, and to live a life that is worthy of being remembered.

As the African proverb goes, "If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together."

Let's choose to embrace our own power, to build each other up, and to support each other on our journeys towards significance. Let's make every day count, and create a masterpiece that will be remembered for generations to come. Remember, life is a masterpiece that you create, and you have the power to make it something truly remarkable.

Martin Luther and Mohammad Ail are both acknowledged for realizing that our greatest fear is not being weak, but being strong and enigmatic. Regardless of the origin, I find this statement to be a valid one.

You are powerful beyond measure, with the ability to create a masterpiece out of your reality. Every thought, word, and action is a stroke on the canvas of your life. Take it slow, but start today.

The most incredible piece of art you will ever witness is staring right back at you in the mirror. Start now and start making your life count.
