Ankit Srivastava Streamlines Authorization with Cutting-Edge Automation Solutions

The field of data engineering and automation has become an essential component of modern enterprise solutions, helping refine processes, reduce manual efforts, and improve efficiency. Organizations are increasingly utilizing cloud-based technologies and AI-driven insights to optimize workflows and data management.

The transition from traditional systems to automated solutions helps improve accuracy, security, and compliance with industry standards. With the growing reliance on big data and real-time analytics, professionals in this field continue to develop tools and frameworks that support business objectives while ensuring integration with existing systems.

Ankit Srivastava has contributed to this transformation through his experience in ETL automation, cloud computing, and AI-driven authorization frameworks. "Automation is about making systems smarter and more adaptable to changing needs," he explains. His work with ODI and IICS ETL tools has replaced many manual and mainframe jobs, improving process efficiency.

He has also helped develop an AWS Glue framework that automates data movement between different storage and processing layers, such as S3, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake, using Python and Lambda functions. "The objective was to create a framework that allows teams to push data efficiently with minimal manual intervention," he notes. Additionally, he designed an automation process in IICS to transfer data from PostgreSQL to third-party vendors while maintaining backups in S3, ensuring efficiency and data integrity.

Beyond automation, he worked on healthcare data management by developing ETL processes that handle Medicaid eligibility data. "Ensuring smooth Medicaid transitions is important for maintaining service continuity," he explains. His work in generating Cognos reports for business stakeholders has supported informed decision-making. His efforts in automating API-driven data movement have helped reduce manual effort and lower costs associated with extract generation. "By automating these processes, we have reduced the reliance on manpower and made operations more cost-effective," he states.

"Static authorization models can be inefficient. AI-driven solutions help analyze access patterns, detect anomalies, and adjust policies dynamically," he shares. This approach has improved security through adaptive authentication and real-time monitoring. "Automation in authorization processes helps maintain compliance with regulations like GDPR and HIPAA while enhancing security," he adds. His framework allows integration with existing IT infrastructures while providing the scalability needed to support evolving business needs.

Reportedly, processing times for authorization requests have decreased, improving the speed of onboarding and role transitions. "Reducing human intervention minimizes errors and ensures consistent enforcement of policies," he says. His automation solutions are built to handle large-scale data processing while supporting organizational growth.

Cost savings from automation have also been significant, with reduced operational overhead and optimized resource allocation. "Automation requires an upfront investment, but it ultimately leads to better efficiency and cost-effectiveness," he notes.

However, implementing large-scale automation has posed several challenges. Legacy systems, which often lack compatibility with modern automation tools, required careful restructuring. "Bridging the gap between legacy and modern systems was a key challenge that required thoughtful planning," he comments. Scalability was another concern, as manual authorization processes could not efficiently support a growing organization.

"Developing a scalable framework was necessary to keep up with increasing data volumes while maintaining performance," he says.
Regulatory compliance also played a crucial role, requiring thorough attention to data protection and privacy laws. "Compliance is a key factor in any automation solution we implement," he states.
Security concerns were another challenge.

"Automation introduces new risks, and ensuring strong security measures was essential," Ankit emphasizes. The implementation of anomaly detection and real-time access monitoring has helped address these risks. Resistance to change was also an issue, as employees and stakeholders often hesitated to adopt new technologies. "Clear communication, training, and demonstrating benefits were important for successful adoption," he shares.

Through his work in data automation, Ankit Srivastava has contributed to improving operational processes while addressing technical and regulatory challenges in the field.
