How to design an overview of events

Hey fellow devs!

I am thinking about the following project. I want to create a page which shows an overview of upcoming events. The events are cultural, nature focused. And they follow a somewhat 'local' feeling.

I can simply create a stack of cards, but that is not that 'nature' feeling. How would you approach such a idea? Where can I get good ideas on these ages. I am looking through Dribble but I find it difficult to wrap my head around it.

Which other design resources do you use for inspiration?
