We kept running into a simple but frustrating problem when editing video clips.
Most video editors require downloading heavy software, creating accounts, or opening complex tools. For something as simple as trimming a clip or cutting a short video, the workflow felt much heavier than it should be.
So we decided to build something simpler.
We created Qcut, a lightweight video editor that runs entirely in the browser.
The idea was to make editing instant:
- no installs
- no signup
- no watermark
Just open the site and start editing.
You can try it here:
https://qcut.app
We also recently launched Qcut on Product Hunt and would love to hear what developers and builders here think, and what features would make something like this more useful.
