Kalene, I found this site when I googled “how to use my design degree in nursing.” I’ve been in printing for almost 40 years and have been dealing with layoffs for the last 10 years. I got an Associates degree in Web design but never really left print design. I decided to go to nursing school after my last layoff and recovering from breast cancer. I keep thinking about how I’d like to work art therapy into my nursing career using computer design applications. I was a family home daycare provider for 7 years and I loved working with kids and doing art projects.
