Replies for: VS code doesn't show error in editor but during compilation i get: currentUser does not exist on type 'Request'. Its Ts error.

same here. not only that, testing (jest/ts-jest) also fails unless I do:

declare module 'express' {
  export interface Request {
    i18n: import('i18next').i18n
    language: string
  }
}
