Payment companies talk constantly about conversion, fraud loss, and global expansion. The operational reality underneath those words is uglier: a legitimate merchant in Sao Paulo, Guadalajara, Bengaluru, or Surabaya can hit a KYB flow that headquarters cannot reliably reproduce. The field that broke may depend on a local document format. The failure may come from a real phone-number reputation signal, a local bank-account pattern, a device-history mismatch, or a manual-review rule that only triggers on an authentic regional identity stack.
