Announced at WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2025, Stack Overflow aims to become the most trusted source for technologists. The public Q&A network (all of Stack Exchange) is simply Stack Overflow, while ads, enterprise tools and data licensing are grouped under Stack Overflow Business.

Community-driven re-brand vote

On July 10, 2025 the company launched its first full re-brand poll with two logo concepts (modern “stack” vs. minimalist “(-_-)” face). Voting closed on July 15.

Data partnership: Snowflake Marketplace

Knowledge Solutions is a data licensing offering that provides continuous access to Stack Overflow’s public datasetSince 3 June 2025 the complete Stack Exchange corpus (150 + sites) is available on Snowflake Marketplace as a Cortex Knowledge Extension, providing high-quality training data for GenAI.
