LoFi stations on YouTube are 🔥 I have this Deep Light channel on heavy rotation lately (they run multiple similar live streams at a time). It's a bit more EDM-ish than LoFi though.
Nothing beats reggae on chill vibes for me... Even if I can't avoid focusing on the lyrics 😅 💆🏻♂️
Anywho, I'm eager to hear y'all's suggestions and if anybody has ideas for next week's topic, lemme hear it!
Some suggestions without knowing if they've already been used in past weeks:
Tunes from your teenage days or "the first record you downloaded bought"
Risk of "date myself" with this one but cool to see how folk's responses would differ a.k.a. different eras
Jump!
What song just "makes you jump/dance"
Car ride playlist
What's your playlist/songs of choice for long drives
I'm a friendly, non-dev, cisgender guy from NC who enjoys playing music/making noise, hiking, eating veggies, and hanging out with my best friend/wife + our 3 kitties + 1 greyhound.
I really love house music and reggae... both are very fitting to bring up in this list.
And oooo, these are some great suggestions for upcoming topics to focus on. I love all these ideas, especially "tunes from your teenage days" ... you can expect these to all make an appearance soon! 😀

Oooo I dig the Tashoora tunes! I don't know how I'd describe them exactly, but they all feel really positive and give me airy, floaty vibes (that's not a musical term, just how I feel, haha). The way that the male and female vocals blend together kinda reminds me of Of Monsters and Men.
Anthera similarly gives me that airy, floaty feel. It's really nice. 🙂

Ooo I love some Future Islands! So glad you brought them up here.
I agree that they sit somewhere in the middle between chill and amped up... But, certain songs are pretty dang chill, like "A Song For Our Grandfathers"
I also think "Where I Found You" is pretty chill. It's like a torch ballad.

I love programming, it has been my passion since I was a kid, and will forever be my passion.
I'm a *tad* late, but I've been enjoying these absolutely amazing chiptune covers of Still Alive and Want You Gone from Portal and Portal 2 respectively.

Not your body move when hear that kinda music. But your soul dance on it!
Anthera is the album name, Rubah Di Selatan (Fox In The South in english) is the band name.
Aha! I gotcha now. Thanks for clearing that up.
And right on! It does indeed make ya dance on the inside.
Cheers and Chill
