πŸ‘½ NOTEPAD vs ME 🀠

I am web developer since many years and I have started coding in the most basic and underrated application to ever exist

NOTEPAD!!!

Today I will try to prove everyone wrong and code inside of notepad. I will be attempting to make a basic webpage out of notepad. Read till the end to see the result. Let’s also measure the time taken to tackle this challenge

Let's get started!
As soon as I opened notepad, the first thing I did was searched for dark theme. Unfortunately, there is no dark theme!

Ok, I took necessary eye protection and started sailing. You know what my default font was in notepad ? It was impact ( I am serious ). I quickly changed that so that my code does not look like a meme. My thought was simple. Home page for a donut company. Why donuts? I don’t know! I quickly wrote the boiler plate code, and I was missing VS CODE already. Then, I quickly wrote html for the navbar. Here is a list of what I hate in notepad so far.

First of all, my eyes hurt so bad. Then, I hate the fact that I should hit β€œctr+S”, every time I want preview my code. I hate that there is no auto rename tag option. I hate the fact there is no Emmet. I miss capability to customize my workspace. I hate everything!! After a while, I got adapted to notepad and things went pretty fast. I completed the navbar in a very short period. For the fonts, I wanted a bubbly font like the font in the Dunkin donuts logo. I asked Microsoft co-pilot, yes! I use Bing. It gave me a really good suggestion. I loved the font! I chose the colours, picked an image, adjusted the layout and I was good. To my surprise, it took 40 minutes for this webpage. Generally, I complete this kind of a website in 10 minutes. Here is how it turned out
