The chat window wasn't enough
For the last year, my AI workflow looked like this: open a tab, brief the AI, watch it work, keep the tab alive, copy the output somewhere useful, close the tab — and watch everything stop. Next day, new session, half the context gone, brief it again.
Three pains kept repeating:
- The meter. Paid tiers, usage caps, the low-grade anxiety of rationing a tool I wanted to lean on.
- The tab. Close it and the work stops. Nothing — literally nothing — happens overnight.
- The goldfish. Every session starts over. The AI is brilliant and has no idea who I am by tomorrow.
ChatGPT and Claude are excellent at thinking with you in the moment — I want to say that plainly, because it's true and because what I built isn't a replacement for that. But the moment I wanted work done — overnight, unattended, reported back — a chat window was the wrong form factor. I didn't need a smarter chat. I needed a staffer.
What I built
MiniStaff Agent is an AI agent with its own computer.
It's professionally configured before it ever starts — set up right, tuned and tested — and it lives on a real machine of its own: files, a terminal, persistent memory, scheduled jobs. It codes, ships, creates, and deploys. It also does research, documents, and general knowledge work.
There are two homes for it:
- Its own cloud computer — always on. ₹1,999 / ₹3,999 / ₹7,999 a month depending on size.
- Your own computer — ₹999 a month. Cheaper, and honest about the trade: it runs when your computer runs.
It ships with free AI models, ready to work — nothing extra to buy. If you want more, you bring your own ChatGPT or Claude sign-in, or your own API keys, and switch anytime. And the economics are the point: MiniStaff never meters usage. Unlimited usage, one flat price. The only limits are your own provider's rate limits.
When it finishes something, it doesn't sit in a dashboard waiting for you. It messages you first — Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal, or email.
What mine actually does all day
I run my own work on my own agent daily. A normal day looks like:
- Overnight: research runs and builds finish while I sleep. Yesterday's open loops get worked, not just listed.
- Morning: the results are in my messages. A deployed page. A finished competitor comparison. A week of content, drafted.
- Daytime: I assign jobs between other things — "draft this," "check that," "build the small tool" — and it works them like a queue, not a conversation.
- Evening: scheduled jobs fire on their own. I review an approval batch instead of doing the producing myself.
The honest summary: it's not smarter than the AI you're already using. It's the same class of intelligence, given a desk, a memory, and a night shift. The finishing is the feature.
The offer this week
MiniStaff launched this week, and I'm running a Founding 10: the first 10 customers lock today's price forever. Prices will rise as this grows; theirs won't. If you want to kick the tyres first, the cloud plan has a ₹699 first week.

Honest lessons so far
This is the part most launch posts skip, so:
- I have zero customers. This article is not a victory lap. It's a starting gun. The product is live and I use it daily — that is the entire proof I can honestly offer today.
- The recipe is not the product. Anyone can install an agent. Almost nobody wants to spend their weekend configuring one, breaking it, and fixing it. "Set up right, maintained for you" turned out to be the actual thing people ask me about.
- Distribution is harder than the build. The product took weeks. Getting the first ten strangers to trust it will take longer, and no feature I ship changes that. This post is part of that work.
- Flat pricing is a bet. Unlimited usage at one flat price only works if the economics underneath are structured right. I believe they are — and the Founding 10 will be the first real test of that belief.
- Dogfooding cuts both ways. My agent helped plan this launch, which is a great demo — and also means I notice every flaw in it before anyone else does. Both keep me honest.
What I'd love from you
If you're a builder: what would you hand an agent like this on day one? And if the answer is "nothing, because…" — that "because" is the most valuable thing you can give me. I reply to everything personally.
— Aditya, maker of MiniStaff
