🚀 Building a First Full-Stack User Management System with React, Node.js & MongoDB

Why I Started Building This Project

I'm currently learning full-stack web development, and instead of only following tutorials, I decided to build a real project from scratch.

I'm building a Full-Stack User Management System using:

  • ⚛️ React + TypeScript
  • 🟢 Node.js + Express
  • 🍃 MongoDB + Mongoose
  • 🔐 JWT Authentication
  • 🧰 Redux Toolkit

What I've Learned So Far

One of the biggest things I've realized while learning full-stack development is that understanding how the frontend and backend communicate is just as important as learning individual technologies.

I've been working on authentication, Redux state management, API communication, and connecting the application to MongoDB.

There have definitely been some bugs and confusing moments along the way 😅, but solving those problems has been one of the most valuable parts of the learning process.

What's Next?

I'm planning to continue building the project with protected routes, user/admin functionality, and CRUD operations.

This is still a work in progress, but I'm excited to see how far I can take it.

Building → Breaking → Debugging → Learning → Building again. 🚀

I'd love to hear from other developers: What was the first full-stack project you built?
