"Technology is never neutral." At some aspects, it is inclined one way or another such as its effects in our health and mind. As technology gave us convenience and efficiency in our daily lives, we can't just look merely to its brighter side. There is its another side that will be neglected from all of its perks that we see. However, many may not utilize technology properly by excessively using it without the concern of its consequences.
As a student, I deem technology as a source of distraction over my studies, considering that I'm an adolescent. Moreover, as we spend most of our time on social media and multimedia platforms, we tend to lift the responsibilities upon our shoulders. We sacrifice our integrity, not just in using the technology, but also in our self values, causing some people to commit cyberbullying, learn inappropriate contents and even deviate the law.
In summary, we can never equate technology's pros and cons. We will be in such notion that certain side is dominant over the other. The neutrality of technology depends on how we will balance its two sides by evaluating if we have the good or bad ways of maximizing technology.
