Help: Vehicle health analysis using Python

Is anyone who has ever worked on or know of a Python project that does either one of the following:

Vehicle health analysis/prediction or,
Driving patterns recognition/analysis from a vehicle's ECU?

I recently got my hands on an OBD2 adapter and would like to connect it to a RPi to gather data and hopefully do some analysis.
