Instead, it became one of those days I'll probably remember every time someone mentions the Red Sea.
The morning started with a hotel pickup before heading to the marina. After boarding the yacht, the crew welcomed everyone, explained the schedule, and we sailed toward the first dive site. The water was unbelievably clear, and even before getting in, you could already see shades of blue that looked almost unreal.
As someone who wasn't an experienced diver, I was a little nervous. Thankfully, the instructors were patient and explained every step before we entered the water. Within minutes, I found myself surrounded by colorful coral reefs and schools of tropical fish. It felt like entering another world.
Between the dives, there was plenty of time to relax on the yacht. Lunch was served on board with soft drinks available throughout the trip, making it easy to enjoy the day without worrying about anything.
One thing I really liked was that the trip wasn't only for divers. Some people preferred snorkeling while others simply relaxed on the deck and enjoyed the views. Everyone seemed to have their own perfect version of the day.
A Few Things I'd Recommend
Bring a towel and sunscreen.
Don't worry if you've never tried scuba diving before.
Listen carefully to the instructor during the safety briefing.
Take an underwater camera if you have one.
For beginners, this is one of the easiest ways to experience scuba diving in the Red Sea because all equipment and guidance are provided during the excursion.
By the time we returned to the marina, I was already thinking about my next dive. It's one of those experiences that makes you appreciate just how incredible the underwater world of Hurghada really is.
