Nevertheless, Mónica Coded, and still does

I began to code because...

Since I have memory I liked computers. The first laptop that was in my house had Windows 3.8 and the screen was black and white. But that did not matter to me it fascinated me to be able to use it. Even without knowing how to read, I learned how to open the programs I liked. When I was growing up my father used to borrow computers from his work and once he made me a little program that gave me simple equations to learn math. When I finished high school it was clear that I wanted to study computer science and started studying at polytechnic. When I graduated there I entered the University of Computer Science, of which I am proud, since it was five wonderful years learning everything I was capable of.
Now for more than three years I have worked as a developer in a software company and since I started I have had to face new technologies and study a lot and train as a professional. I love it since the first time I saw how to code a program by myself.

I want to brag about...

Recently I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a script in python for Valentine's Day and in a very short time I learned the basics to be able to do it since I did not know anything about pyhton.

My advice for allies to support women and non-binary folks who code is....

The first step to get somewhere is to decide that you're not going to stay where you are

Awwwww, so pretty, I suppose that a child of yours the fist phrase will be... "HELLO WORLD", then you'll say, man of code has born.
