I built a free tool that solves this in 10 seconds: enter your image's pixel size (or upload it), and it tells you the largest size you can print at full quality — plus how it holds up against standard photo and poster sizes.

Quick rule of thumb: divide pixel width by 300 to get max inches for a sharp, close-up print. A 3000×2000px photo tops out around 10×6.7in.
