We built CampusWatch this Hacktoberfest: a 3D campus energy monitor that spots devices left on in empty rooms, catches sudden power spikes, and alerts the person responsible. If the alert is ignored, it escalates to the warden. ⚡
An open-weight AI (Qwen2.5-7B) runs fully offline to write and explain every alert, so room-level data stays on campus. The project runs on synthetic data today and is designed to switch to real room sensors next.
