Why can't we navigate DB tables as easily as our code?

I have been developing for the past 17 years and whenever I wanted to talk to developers regarding a feature, I always found it difficult to have all the tables needed for the conversation - while DB diagram did help in this a little bit, it was still very straight jacketed & restrictive.

We would eventually manage, but I always wondered why is navigating and reading code so easy, but not the same for database.

I have explored many tools, but none that satisfied the simple need of cataloging, searching and navigating tables easily.

So our team set out to solve this very problem and built a tool that could help us easily visualize the DB schema, tag the tables with APIs, features etc & filter the table views in a simple but rich UI - we have been using it for a while internally and those who use it just loved it - so, we have now decided to open it up to the world - Introducing DBDaddy.dev to the world :)

Do register for early access, we would love to hear your experience using the app & get your feedback on this - thank you all 🙏
