I Built a Jewellery Store / Listing Website You Can Customize Using CMS

What if a jewellery business could update its website content, change
product information, and refresh sections without asking a developer to make every small change?

That's the idea behind my latest website: a jewellery shop website
powered by Strapi CMS
.

The Problem With Traditional Business Websites

Many business websites look great when they launch, but even a small
content update can become a task for a developer.

Want to change a banner? Update some product information? Refresh a
section on the homepage?

If that content is hardcoded into the frontend, even simple updates can
take more time than they should.

For a jewellery business, being able to keep product information and
website content fresh is especially important.

I wanted to explore a better approach: a modern storefront where
content can be managed centrally through a CMS.

Meet the Jewellery Shop Website

🔗 Live Website

The website brings together a polished jewellery storefront and a
content-management workflow built around Strapi CMS.

The key idea is simple: the frontend handles the customer experience,
while Strapi gives the business a central place to manage website
content.

That means the site can be maintained and updated without treating every
content change as a code change.

What Makes This Website Different?

🧩 Content Managed Through Strapi CMS

The website's content is configurable through Strapi CMS.

Depending on the content model, a business can manage website copy,
imagery, product information, and other content from the CMS rather than
hardcoding it into frontend components.

This makes routine updates easier and gives the business more control
over its online presence.

💎 Designed for a Jewellery Business

A jewellery website needs to present its products and brand clearly. The
storefront provides a dedicated online experience for showcasing
jewellery and helping visitors explore what the business offers.

The same general approach can be adapted to different jewellery brands,
product ranges, and visual identities.

⚡ A Modern Frontend With a Flexible Content Layer

A CMS-driven website separates the presentation layer from content
management. Developers can build a tailored frontend while the business
team manages supported content through a centralized interface.

That combination makes it easier to evolve the website as the business
grows.

The Tech Stack

The project uses:

  • Next.js for the frontend
  • Tailwind CSS for styling
  • Strapi CMS for content management

This stack combines a modern React-based frontend with a CMS that can be
used to manage website content.

Who Could Benefit From a Website Like This?

This project is a starting point for businesses that need a professional
website without making every content update dependent on a developer.

The same approach can be customized for:

💍 Jewellery and fashion brands
👗 Clothing and lifestyle stores
💇 Salons and beauty businesses
🍽️ Restaurants and cafés
🏨 Hotels and hospitality businesses
🏢 Local businesses and service providers

Each business has different needs, so the pages, content models, design,
and functionality can be tailored to its requirements.
