Protection operations are based on the OS disk type selected for Azure VM. Enhanced Policy takes the first snapshot as "Full" and subsequent snapshots as "Incremental". The enhanced policy has newer capabilities and hence cannot be changed to the standard policy after configuration. Pricing of Standard policy and enhanced policy varies.
Here you can able to configure hourly backup and specify the time.
But previously for cloud VM there was only a daily backup option.
