But that’s not to say that having a certificate or CS Degree won’t help you; I think it certainly can. That is, if the courses you took were intentional.
E.g.
If I put my ALL into a course that taught me tools I could immediately use in the industry, then I would consider the certificate I get from this course valuable.
Also, I think having a great mentor is also super valuable in becoming a Full Stack SE.
