Simplifying Digital Experiences - Okto as an All-in-one Platform.

A lot of people are skeptical about trying new things, me included. Research has shown that 30-35% of people are skeptical about trying new things, and if you think about it, the question running through everyone's head is "Why should I try this thing out?" or "What does it offer from what I already know?". It's basically the fear of the unknown.

But what if something new didn't feel so unfamiliar, especially if you're new in the world of Web3 that has so much to offer?

Meet Okto, the seamless solution you never knew you needed. From integration to innovation, discover how this all-in-one platform transforms the way we connect and create without limits.

Still skeptical?? Let's Talk 👇

Terms you should know

Before we go on, here are some terms you should know, because you would see these terms as you read on:

  1. Blockchain : As the name suggests, it it basically data stored in blocks, which are linked together to form a chain. The content of each block is the record itself, such as information about a transaction. When one block is altered, the content of that block changes, and impacts other blocks in the chain, like a stack of dominoes.

  2. Decentralization : In an organization, particularly those related to planning or decision making, that power is distributed from one central person and given to smaller factions within it, like a chain of command. So basically, no one is in charge alone, everyone holds the power. It's a way to make things more secure and immutable. It is the opposite of Centralization - where the decision comes from a central person.

    What Decentralization and Centralization means

  3. Cross Chain Liquidity: I've already explained a blockchain, now think of different assets from different blockchains interacting seamlessly to foster better trading opportunities.

  4. Liquidity and Asset : An asset is something valuable that you own that can make you money now or in the future. A liquidity is a measure of how easily that asset can be converted to cash without affecting its price.

  5. On Chain and Off Chain: On chain means a transaction is done directly on the blockchain, and it is known for high security and transparency. Off chain handles transactions outside the blockchain and are known for their speed and lower transmission costs, but may later interact with the on chain blockchain.

All caught up?? Let's continue.

Introducing Okto

Image of okto
Okto is a platform where blockchain meets simplicity. It is more than just a Web3 platform, it is a gateway to a decentralized future, designed to make blockchain accessible to everyone. It eliminates the complexities of wallets, gas fees and cross-chain liquidity. The mission - To bring the globe on-chain, having the best intent-design to become an alternative to the way users interact with Web3 apps, making the ecosystem more inclusive, intuitive and innovative.

Why Okto?

  1. Chain Abstraction for Developers and Users : Chain abstraction is a way that a developer or user sees and works with a blockchain (or other) technology. Okto simplifies how developers and users interact with blockchain technology by hiding complex details about the underlying chains. Here’s the way in which it works for each group.

    For Developers.

Everyone can easily interact with Web3 without coding complexities behind chains through a Unified Interface. They use one API or tool that talks to different chains. Applications can easily work with many different blockchains without the need to reprogram code for each one. Developers can keep the problems away. They can create fancy functionalities for the app without worrying about transaction fees, consensus mechanisms, or scalability issues.

    For Users.

You do not have to worry about what chain you are using. For instance, if you are sending crypto or using a decentralized app, It automatically decides which chain to use. The system is capable of using the least-costly blockchain of its choice, as it does not require any user involvement. Using the app is easy, just like any other app, you don’t have to worry about your wallets, tokens, or chains.

  2. Gasless Transaction: Gas fees are transaction fees paid to validate and process transactions on a blockchain network. It is important as it is used to compensate validators for their work, but not necessary. With Okto, you do not have to pay to process your transaction on the blockchain, but instead the app covers the fee for you.

  3. Universal Liquidity Layer (ULL) : A universal liquidity layer is designed to connect blockchains, platforms or markets to allow the seamless flow of assets, tokens or cryptocurrencies between them. It is a good one because it uses one pool of liquidity which every one can access anywhere regardless of the blockchain. What if you wanted to trade tokens on Ethereum but found better prices on another blockchain like Solana? Okto lets you trade seamlessly across both blockchains without needing separate accounts or wallets. It’s like being able to use your debit card at any bank, no matter which one you belong to.

  4. Decentralized Wallet Network : The term "Decentralization" has been discussed already, meaning there is no one body who control the wallets, and you have full control over your private keys and assets. Okto is a universal wallet that supports Ethereum, Solana and Binance Smart Chain. You can swap tokens, send assets, and interact with dApps across these chains directly from your wallet, without having any bank in the middle.

Other features of the Okto Wallet include:

  1. NFT Creation and Minting made easy.
  2. Allows smarter multi vendor apps with Okto's wallet provider and DWN architecture.
  3. Managing Jobs decentralized
  4. The creation of entry point contracts

In summary, Okto is a promising solution to the problems that users and developers face in the digital world. It has unique features like easy interconnection with different chains, improved security, and decentralized decision-making that makes it a clear leader. If you are an investor, a developer, a crypto enthusiast, or just in search of a credible, user-centered platform that is both versatile and secure, then Okto offers all the resources you need to find your way around the ever-expanding blockchain universe.
